Motor Insurance Questions

  • Are your motor quote pages secure?

    Yes. Our Motor Quote pages are Secure Socket Layer pages (SSL) ensuring your information is kept safe. However, you cannot see a padlock as the questions are held within a "frame" page. To check that the questions are on secure pages, simply "right click" whilst in the questions and click on Properties. You will see that the web address/URL of the question set begins https://. The "S" signifies that the page is secure.  
  • Can I arrange immediate cover?

    Yes - our website offers instant cover 24 hours per day, 365 days a year.
  • Will I get a courtesy car if I'm involved in an accident?

    Yes. If you have a comprehensive motor policy with us, and use the Recommended Repairer scheme, you will have a courtesy car whilst your vehicle is being repaired.
  • Why can't I get an on-line quotation?

    Our on-line quotation system can provide quotations for most cars and drivers, but there may be instances where we need to talk to you before providing cover. If you've not been able to get a quote online, give us a call to see if we can help you over the phone.
  • How can I pay for my car insurance?

    To arrange instant cover on-line, we accept payment by VISA, MASTERCARD and most debit cards. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept American Express.

    By far the most cost effective way to pay for your insurance with us is by monthly direct debit. On our RSA Household and Motor policies you can pay monthly at no extra cost - 0%apr, allowing you to spread the cost, and easing your budget. We are also happy to accept payment by most credit and debit cards, as well as by cheque.

  • Can I insure my Classic Car with CSIS?

    Although we do not offer Classic Car Insurance on-line, we do have a special scheme to help you. Simply give us a call to discuss your needs.
