Going Quackers?

We are pleased to help publicise the GREAT BRITISH DUCK RACE taking place on 2nd September in Hampton Court. Organisers are trying to raise over half a million pounds for British charities by asking for sponsorship of 165,000 rubber ducks which will be unleashed on the Thames to race down a one kilometre stretch. The first duck across the line will win their sponsor a massive £10,000 prize, and at a cost of just £2 per duck, why not sponsor one today?

The Civil Service Benevolent Fund are taking part, and raising awareness of the race. We are more than happy to lend our support to the Fund's efforts, so please click on the following link to view their page on the race and how you can take part - http://www.thegreatbritishduckrace.co.uk/charitypage.php?charity=75

Co-ordinating the Fund's activities at the event is Central Fundraising Manager Jo Ayley. "It's a great way to raise money for the Fund with a tremendous incentive," she says. "165,000 plastic ducks floating serenely the River Thames should be an incredible sight."
