The Kent People’s Trust

The Kent People’s Trust is a crime prevention charity, which is helping to reduce crime through community action and education to provide a safer environment for everyone in Kent.

Since it’s inception in 2000, the Trust has supported a huge variety of community based projects including: walking buses for primary school children; youth clubs, skate board parks, and summer schemes to give young people something positive to do; CCTV cameras for women’s aid shelters to help protect women from further violence; and theatre productions to teach vulnerable older people about the dangers of bogus callers. None of this good work would have been possible without our corporate supporters.

Speaking about their involvement Kevin Holliday, MD of CSIS is very positive about the impact that the Trust has had ‘By supporting the Trust you have the opportunity to change the quality of life for all sorts of people across the Kent community. The projects really make a difference to safety, security and social behaviour.’

CSIS has helped financially support the Trust since it was founded, and Gillian Ford, Chairman of the Kent People’s Trust recently recognised CSIS’s continuing support saying ‘It is organisations like CSIS who recognise how important it is that we tackle crime by working at a grass roots level through education and positive action.  We are delighted that they are supporting the Trust.’
