Don't worry. Suffering from a pre-existing medical condition does not automatically mean that we are unable to insure your condition.
Although our online policy excludes pre-existing medical conditions for anyone named in the policy, or anyone upon whom the trip depends, we may still be able to offer some form of cover. We will simply refer you to the Towergate confidential Medical Screening Team (MST) who will ask you questions about your condition.
If MST can offer cover for your pre-existing condition the premium will remain the same as quoted on this web site but MST may apply an increased excess to any claim made as a result of the pre-existing condition. However they may continue to exclude the condition and the effects of any treatment or drugs associated with the condition.
If you wish to apply for cover to include a pre-existing medical condition please call us on 0845 6077444 during our normal office hours. Our friendly team will guide you through the screening process and forward your call to MST. If MST agree to cover your condition they will advise on the excess and terms to apply. You can then continue to purchase your policy including cover for your pre-existing medical condition and MST will confirm the increased excess or policy terms to you in writing.
